At KYRA Research School, we bridge the gap between research and classroom practice, partner with schools to improve outcomes for disadvantaged pupils through evidence-informed implementation, robust evaluation, quality CPD and follow-on support.
KYRA Research School, part of the EEF’s Research School Network, works in partnership across Lincolnshire and the East Midlands as a bridge between evidence and practice to address the attainment gap for disadvantaged pupils. Our core activities are focussed on facilitating evidence-based professional development, developing partnerships and sharing the evidence of what has worked.
We have designated a varied and dynamic team of Evidence Leads in Education (ELEs) who are practitioners from all phases. ELEs support the work of KYRA Research School and our Associate Research School across the region.
We are proud to partner with LearnAT Associate Research School. The designation from the Education Endowment Foundation was recognition of the development of the Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland Research Hub. The hub has been the result of collaborative work between teaching schools and local authorities across each area.

We are also delighted to be working with DRET Teaching School Hub to establish an Evidence Hub to collaborate with schools in North and North East Lincolnshire.
The Evidence Hub aims to support the use of evidence-informed school improvement and develop sustained capacity within the region. We are working in partnership with DRET Teaching School Hub and the EEF and are keen to maintain and build links with schools, colleges, MATs, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire Councils.
