Anthem is an education charity that runs a group of eleven primary and five secondary schools in the East Midlands, London and the Thames Valley. Since starting out with just three schools in 2011, now serving over 8,000 children and young people across its three regions. Anthem are a values-driven organisation with a commitment to integrity, collaboration and excellence.
Anthem schools are diverse and serve many different communities. They are all united by a shared ambition for children and young people, underpinned by a commitment to integrity, collaboration and excellence. These values are brought to life through the schools’ own identities and approaches, creating thriving local schools that meet their communities’ needs.
Anthem believe that schools should be at the heart of their communities and are well placed to listen and respond to local needs and opportunities. Anthem believe in the benefits of working with others, actively encouraging their schools to collaborate across the Trust and beyond, to foster continuous learning and improvement.
Anthem have an impressive professional development and talent management programme in place for all staff working across their schools. This Developing Great People framework is their signature approach to professional support and development for all. KYRA and Anthem work in partnership to bring a significant part of this offer to schools both within and beyond the Trust, with the opportunity to work with colleagues nationally and in other organisations. Anthem and KYRA share a strong belief in meaningful collaboration which underpins this work, removing the constraints of organisational boundaries to the benefit of pupils within Anthem, the KYRA Alliance and beyond.
