The New to Headship programme is for headteachers who have been new to role within the last 12 months. Participants can choose to register for individual sessions, or for the full programme.
Sessions will cover key themes such as safeguarding, governance, staffing, finance, leading teams & leading change, and performance management.
loThey will also provide a valuable opportunity for developing networks and support.
Cost: £75 (2 credits for Kyra members) per session or £500 (14 credits for Kyra Members) for the whole programme.

Wednesday 31st October 2018 9am-12pm Safeguarding and Lincolnshire support & 'Red Lines' for leaders
Wednesday 31st October 2018 1pm-5pm Understanding governance and working effectively with your chair and governing body & Safeguarding into practice - school case study
Wednesday 16th January 2019 9am-12pm Holding to account & Staffing, recruitment and retention
Wednesday 16th January 2019 1pm-5pm Schools Finance — Budget setting and practical working with SBM and governors
Wednesday 27th February 2019 9pm-12pm Pupil Premium - Leading an Effective strategy & Tools for leaders
Wednesday 27th February 2019 1pm-5pm Open session based on urgent need and priorities - planned in collaboration with the group
