Registration & Booking Information

A specific programme of training and support is being offered by KYRA Teaching School Alliance, in partnership with Education Development Trust’s Schools Partnership Programme.  These development sessions will support impact of peer review, as well as building the skills of leaders at all levels.  

  • Any individual school can access these session (Schools do not need to become affiliated to Education Development Trust or be a member of the Kyra Teaching School Alliance)
  • Each session can be paid individually on a per session / per delegate basis

Foundations

Core Training & Subject Focus Review    21st March 2017

This day introduces the principles & processes of Peer Review, for leaders of whole school and subject/phase specific peer review. Time will be spent exploring leadership competencies, values, & critical conversations. The training covers the three elements of Peer Review: self evaluation, review & improvement planning.

Improvement Champion   3rd March 2017

This training will provide leaders with:

  • The skills & a toolkit to facilitate the review of learning & move to positive action following a peer review
  • Strategies & mechanisms for ongoing reciprocal support & challenge.

Cluster Development & ‘Health Check’   5th July 2017 PM

  • Evaluate the impact of peer review, explore strategies and competencies to develop further as a cluster
  • Engagement with the ‘Effective Cluster Diagnostic’ tool to measure collaboration and impact, and move to greater maturity

  • Developing a feedback rich culture, asking open questions and utilising a coaching approach to peer review.
