Special Educational Needs Support
Within our Teaching School Alliance we have developed a group of SEN specialists who are developing support for schools and SENCOs with a focus on the following outcomes:
- Improvement in the confidence of teachers in meeting the needs of children with SEND and in building relationships with and working with parents/carers
- Increased outcomes for children with SEND over the long-term
- Increased capacity and system leadership that provides a sustainable resource beyond the life of the project
- Increased capacity and expertise in SEN, building on existing models such as SLEs and the SEN scholarship.
